Homemade dogbiscuits with peanut butter power!
I made homemade dogbiscuits today because I don't like to feed Fred, our mix breed pooch, too many of the store bought treats. I mean what's my excuse for not making wholesome, healthy snacks for him? Oh, I've got to watch that show that I always watch, about baking stuff....yah, that's it! Ingredients * 2 cups whole wheat flour * 1/4 cup wheat germ * 1/4 cup peanut butter * 1 cup oatmeal * 1 cup water * 1 Tbsp canola oil
Combine the wet ingredients, then add the dry. Roll out the dough to 1/4 to 3/8 inch and cut out your favorite shape dog biscuits. Put on a sheetpan and bake at 375 degrees for 30-40 minutes, depending on your oven. You may want to leave them in there after you turn off the oven, so that they harden up real good.

After they cool to room temp, give a homemade dogbiscuit to your favorite fido. He deserves it, doesn't he? While you're at it, after he's had his treat, take him for a walk. If you're anything like me, you can use the exercise!
